Friday 9 May, 2-3pm: A talk on the history of Spicers
by Bryan Howe.
Bryan will be sharing with us pictures from his collection,
as well as giving a talk on the history of this local firm. Bring along
your own Spicers photographs and memories, and have a chat over a cup of tea
and cake! Free, although donations for refreshments would be very
welcome.
We've invited Sawston Scene photographer, Ann Redshaw, to
come along. If people don't mind, I hope she can take photos of old
photos that people bring in - and then, with your consent, hopefully we can
display them at the FoSL stand at the Sawston Fete or print them in the Sawston
Scene.
