AGM minutes

The Annual General Meeting of the Friends of Sawston Library was held 29 November in the library, and the minutes of the meeting are now available here.  Among the issues discussed was the (slow) progress on the Community Hub proposed for the Sawston Village College site.  Concerns were also raised about the reduced movement of books between libraries in the County as a result of the introduction of reservation charges for adult readers, and the possible impact on borrowing rates if the available collection becomes stagnant.  Readers thoughts on the selection of books available in the library, and what you would prefer to see, would be welcome - leave us a comment here!
